I HAVE NOW FOUND TO MY COST THAT THE CAB ELECTRIC WINDERS HAVE LONGER ARMS. I HAVE FOUND THAT ALL THE POSTS I HAVE ASKED ON I GET KNOW HELP. You are correct however that the arms are longer but you can extend these without to much work, I used the the arms from the manual set up and adapted these to fit though. You get the same issue when taking electric windows of any car with a different door length as a matter of interest Im currently using trick lexus motors which were harder work, but they do have a clapper to put the windows up. It`s probably helped me in keeping my cabbie alive more than anything as I have made some great friends who have been more than willing to offer advice/help with parts etc. Bide your time and make sure people understand what you`re asking before you start with the bad mouthing,you won`t get very far and you certainly won`t make any friends. I think some cabs had electric rear windows as well,I`m not sure and maybe that was where the confusion was. As for the select few,it`s not like that-we even help out people who aren`t even registered on here but just pop in and post as a guest.
