Guest paulescos Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 just found some 4" audiobahn component speakers that handle a massive 120w rms. loads more than the infinity speakers I had my eye on. I had Infinity speakers in my focus many moons ago and the sound is good but on paper the audiobahn speakers have double the power rms!!!! :wow: Has anyone got or had any experience with Audiobahn and would you recommend it??????? btw I still need to know the front speaker size for my mk6, anyone know? I'm also looking for a good head unit with a usb port in the front so that i can plug in my ipod, any advice???? Would be nice to have the ice, alarm and wheels sorted in time for summer. Guest sjc Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 hiya mate...speakers dont have power...just power handling capacity...but yu should also consider frequency range and sensitivity (how easy they are to drive) when picking them, listen if you can...it doesnt matter if i like the sound of them. ive got an audiobahn mono bloc in the boot (have a look at "ICE" forum) have not really give it a blast yet as i am still running in the sub, i alo have some chromed tweeters that are next on my list to fit. I would only buy audibahn if i could get them at a knocked down price (as i did) dont expect good sound quality from your ipod though, the files are too compressed to sound good a road going volumnes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
