Hi Peeps !!! :big_wave:

 

 

Went to Eggsy's on Monday to catch-up and give him a hand with his new instal, he wanted to put some 10" speakers in the metal parcel shelf so naturaly, out came the Jig-Saw lol !!! :biggrin:

This is the ideal place to mount big speakers, great for a sub even !!! :biggrin:

 

 

I don't need to do this to mine as the previous owner did it for me !!! :banana_dance:

what about when the roof is down???can you still hear anything??? and wouldn't the loose vibrations crack the rear window when roof is down??

but it would block the bass i guess, im driving around with the back seat open s i can hear my bass at its better qulity but as soon as someone gets in the back all i hear is rattling.

 

want to do something about it, was thinking about cutting the middle of the seat and building a port thats further back than the fabric so i can still have 3 people in the back but its alot of work and i dont know if it is a structual part of the car.

 

this idea seemed simpler

my old cabby had 6x9's in the rear shelf, was pants with the roof down!!

i thought it kinda defeated the object of having a drop top not being able to hear much when you are enjoying the delights of a cabriolet.

i've just stuck to a fairly normal set up this time round with stock positions etc
