Guest matt-the-dj
hi guys merry christmas i have a slight prob with my cab it has been getting hard to start lately, i turn the key, ignition lights up but i turn it one more and nothing no starter turning, until today i tried it a couple of times then it worked, but now it will not turn over at all, so my question is do you think the starter switch is faulty and should i change the ignition relay at the same time, can i bodge it to test my theory.I have checked the terminals of the switch and im not getting a feed on the black/blu wire which goes to the starter, but im not sure if the relay could throw this fault up please help. i have to fix it urgently as my mondeo has a slipping clutch. doh! Vincygav
I had this problem, I changed the ignition switch, Many of the original items tended to go faulty after and if you buy a new one you would see it is slightly different.
