as far as i know it is the same, but someone else will need to back me up on this..

have you got the hole 1800 zetec engine, ie inlet, exhaust manifold, etc etc??

if not the i will have a full 1800 16v zetec convertion going soon. engine, inlet, exhaust manifold, wiring, full exhaust, and gearbox etc..

I would say if you have a hoist it would be easier to lift from the top with your bonnet off of course.. alot of people just drop the sub-frame, but then you still have to get the bugger out from underneath.. just unbolt it from the sub-frame and hoist it from the top mate, then drop the new one in from the top too. i would say thats easiest.

make sure you have the whole engine assembled before you drop it in so its less to put on when its in. :banana_dance:

I fitted a 1.8 zetec rs1800 lump into my mk5 after taking out cvh lump to put in a MK4 CAB.All you would need is the ecu wiring is the same as is fuse box im still running fuse box from my cvh and it works fine.
