The last owner had done some rather tacky jobs on the car and if I were to purchase it, there are lotsa work to be done. 1. The hood is not automatic nor eletronically controlled. Can it be converted to electronically controlled? Have anyoen done it? 2. I am looking for parts such as door skins and interior parts, where in the UK can I source for them? 3. I need a new roof. There are holes in it. 4. Can the later version Escort engines fit the MKIV? 5. When Can I get nice kit such as front and rear bumpers to fit the car? Thank you so much. The roof can be converted to be electric, you need the wiring loom, rams and pump, they pretty much bolt on to the manual roof !!! Eggsy has 3 roofs for sale and there is a thread for them on the 'Assesories Parts and Spares' forum, they are all around 6 months old !!! You can fit a 1.8 or a 2.0 ZETEC from a Mk5/Mk6 Cab but you will need to ask the Guys who have done it for details, no2lurch did a 1.8 conversion and Andy did a 2.0 conversion with a Turbo convesion too !!! eBay is a good place to look for body kits, interior trim and for a lot of the above items !!!
