Guest Tarks
cheers guys ive done that and nothing happens, i dont even get the immo recognising the master so im stuffed, im now looking at wire diagrams to eliminate the immo pats system/bypass it, ive got the dash out and im half way through lol its seems possible in my head but im going to try and bypass the immo fooling the ecc/ecu to do its job. Guest Tarks
well the PATS removal was very easy the cars now up and running. the only thing i did learn is the eec/ecu is interupted buy the pats system and doesnt actually recieve a signal to function as i first thought. The pats control the fuel pump and controls the spark via blocking a control signal to or from eec/ecu. take this away and you have restored electrics, by connecting the power from relay on the fuel pump to the line out of the pats this restores normal function of the fuel pump. the only draw back is ...............the main control for the right hand stalk for the window wipers and screen jets run through the PATS so ive now got no function at all on this. im looking into bypassing this issue tomorrow it shouldnt be a great problem its only one wire effected the black and blue wire (on mk5 that is) so my cars up and running but its winter and no windcreen wipers or washers lol bugger!!!! can anyone help with this? Vincygav
You could take the central locking/alarm fuse out, this should bypass it to allow you to get it started.
Vincygav
although if you do the above, you would have no central locking until you get it sorted
