Hi there, my first post!!

I have just bought some new blue front indicators as one of my current ones is smashed so i thought id upgrade. I was planning to replace them myself, i have managed to take the spring clip off, but there is also a bolt that goes accross the top of the headlamp and through to the indicator and is covered in a plasticy rubber thing! As much as I turn it, i cant seem to loosen the bolt or anything. Just wondering if anyone understands what I mean or could give me some help so i dnt have to pay 4 sumone to do it 4 me!!

Cheers,

Raz :big_wave:

where are you

ok have you taken out the headlight ? if not take it out .....

rith the most comen thing to happen is the nut in the indicator brakes of so the 10mm boult just turns .. so you need to snap the old indicator out then with wd40 give a good sprae then molegrips or plyers on the back or the nut and undo

hope that makes sence

OK. So i have to take the headlight out first? There is a little drip tray thing on top of the light which is bolted either side...i cant get those bolts off, albeit that i thought i only had to take one off in order to fit the indicator. After taking the headlight off...snap out/ break off the indicator and just use wd40 to try and remove the bolt? thanks

and what ya mean by where am i? where do i live, or where am i in the process of taking off the inidcator...coz the answer to that is in no mans land!

cheers

I live in Worcester Park, South East London / Surrey. Goin to try and fit them either later tonight (got assignment to do for uni dammit) or tomorro. only prob is, if i mess it up or cant get the bolt off or whatever, the car will be illegal to drive because I wont have the headlamps or indicators! tricky situation as I hardly ever dnt use my car for a day!
