Guest no2lurch
i am sticking a 1800 zetec engine in my mk4 cab. i need a new exhaust system too, so i was wondering what is the best thing to do. i am currently looking into a standard efi cvh mk4 escort system and i plan to remove the front box (of the three) and mate it up to the zetec down pipe without the cat. after much eading around the subject and reading many forums, i will be using the cvh efi loom so i wot have the lamba sensor or maf sensor either. would this exhaust option be a good idea, of is there anything else i could do? would a rs turbo exhaust system work well with the zetec? i know it wont with a NA cvh as the lack of back pressure would be bad... any other advice would be great... Guest markeyboy
i dont think the zetec needs much back pressure, on a tuning article that i saw in fast ford they said thay the moer free flowing the better iirc, so de-cat and a nice stright through system should do nice, will prob be deffining tho
