Guest Justin
When i got my cab in april, i just transplanted my 5 year old top-of-the-range JVC headunit into it.. Unfortunately, though it didnt skip in my astra, it did in my cabby.. Id planned ahead though.. decided i wanted a new one already.. Ive now got a JVC KD-SH1000, with a usb socket for usb keys loaded with songs, and its also got an SD card slot, so i have a big card in there with all my main favourite albums. They are meant to be between 400 and 450 guide price on JVCs page, but you can find them much cheaper from online retailers! I only paid 189! If you are looking at mp3 players, look for those with a dot matrix display as they are much easier to read than an lcd..
Guest SliCkMiX
As said in above posts, try and go for one with mem card slot or even blue tooth so you can stream off your phone to the stereo! As for anti skip, the CDs your playin, do they get really hot? If so then your player is knackerd! Only cheapo CD players will skip nowa dys. Go for sony or pioneer, you pay for what you get
