  1. Hi everyone

Just to let you know that we have booked the dates for the 2016 road trip to Monaco.

We will be leaving on Friday, 10 June 2016 on le shuttle to Calais returning to Harwich via Hook of Holland on Friday, 17th June (arriving Saturday, 18th June at 6.30 am).

We will be driving down to Marseilles via Dijon on day 1/day 2.

Then we will travel via south france coastal route to Cap d ail (just outside Monaco) where we will stay for 3 nights so that we can explore Monaco, Nice, Cannes, St Tropez etc.

Then we will head up through the Swiss mountains via Lausanne/Luxembourg before coming back via the Hook of Holland on a Stena ferry.

So far we have myself and Karen, Ian (Badger) and Avril (Basbear) booked so please just us know if you are interested in joining us and we can let you have the detailed itinerary.

    Approximate costs are as follows:

Le Shuttle crossing £76 per car

Stena Ferry crossing £75 per car plus a cabin around £45 plus evening meal etc

7 nights accommodation in Europe approx. £389 per person (based on 2 persons sharing) but this will depend on hotel and availability.

Would be great if we can get even more cars booked.

  2. hi all it was an excellent day even though I didn't feel too good and didn't want to sit in a long traffic jam so that's why we left early and managed to get out in 15 minute.. It was amazing that the queue was just starting to build up even at around 2.30 pm. Lets hope the weather holds out for Bromley this weekend.
