    You can fit a hydraulic pas as ford did fit it to a special order but these are very rare as you will need a pump ,pipework and rack an easier way is to fit an electric pas which is from esortmk2mania they use corsa b electric pas and modify the steering column so all you need to do is send them your old column and bolt it in and wire it up search google (ford escort mk3 pas)

    It’s with a heavy heart I think it’s time to sell my mk 3 as I am still not fully healthy and haven’t worked for a year so no money so I don’t think I will be able to finish it and I am at my time of life to clear out the garage so if anything happens to me it would not leave my wife with a lot of trouble trying to clear out all the stuff I have got would any body would be interested in a mk3 project with 90% original panels including original front wings and front panel I have repaired the battery tray to an original look it still needs a small repair to the n/s/r wheel arch comes with a lot of rs turbo s1 parts and a perfect dash correct Xr/rs dash not plastic one I was going to make a full s1 rs turbo cabriolet using all s1 parts it is fully stripped as I was going to change the colour but I do have all the parts to make it a 1.6i cabriolet or 80% parts to build an s1turbo cabriolet so what do you think it would be worth

    well Kelsey media have done it again not only they mess up car shows but they have messed up this trip I got an email to say that the cologne factory tour has been cancelled because the factory is on shut down when we were due to go and have the tour they have changed the trip but I will not be going now because I was only going to tour the factory I think that Kelsey media should be put against a wall and shot

    Hi all

     

    Spotted this while looking on the Classic Ford website - looks like an interesting trip - here are some highlights and there is a link at the bottom you can click on.

     

    What really grabbed me about this trip is you get a tour around the Cologne Ford Factory where they make the Ford Fiesta at the moment. Having visited Dagenham in the past it was a really good insight into how these cars are built. Me and Karen are going - anyone else interested?
