Hiya all,
After some parts all help will be greatly appreciated. i'm after the windscreen pillar allen screw covers that the roof rack screws into also exterior side window rubber seals. These are for a mk 5 / or mk 5 facelift not sure if any others would fit. advice would be good.
The allen screws for the pillar not woried about the colour but i do need all 4 of them. The window seals i need both front side windows and rear side windows.
If any of you good people could point me to somebody who is breaking or has these parts i will be very greatful.
many thanks chris (rudedog).
I am currently breaking a MK6 cabriolet & may still have the window seals. Whereabouts are you?
-
Thanks for the welcome.
I would be about 20 miles from Bedford, so pretty local.
The current wheels are the only non standard item on it. I sourced a decent original set today that will go on shortly after they have been refurbed. As the car was first used by Ford, I have decided it will become a long term keeper and invest in a full on restoration.
In two weeks time it will go into the body shop to be returned to its former glory.
I'll probably be looking for some trim parts during the rebuild, so I may be asking for a few bits and pieces.
Once I start stripping her down, I'll start a resto thread.
I am currently breaking a early MK6 & some of the trims may fit

Hi all new to the site and just thought i would tell you all about me and the cabby.
names Scott and I'm 28 from Mansfield. Dad of 3 and own and run my own furniture business.
I bought the cabby just under 2 years ago, with the intention of getting it back on the road.
The rear shoes was replaced along with the fuel filter, battery and some fresh fuel.
Engine runs fine but the cooling fan is not kicking in and after lowering the car back on the ground the front spring snapped.
Shortly after I took a business over and the car got left.
Now its time to start again.
Job list:
New front springs (thinking of lowering it 30\40mm all round)
Service the engine running again and fix the fan.
New sills. (thoughts on replacements)
MOT
Try and work out whats wrong with the power hood
new bumpers, set of side skirts and a roll tip cherry bomb.
re-spray
will get some pictures taken soon.
all ideas and knowledge welcome.
If your looking for parts for it, I am currently breaking a yellow MK6 cabriolet
