Get the mk6 on the road and use it as a running project . not have to worry about parking it up and walking away from it in the car parks etc
may even get around to giving the mk3 some attention it needs lol
when I had the mk6 that's what I done it was great as an all rounder and I wasn't bothered about leaving it anywhere

-
well its the new year
what have you got planned for this year (I'm not saying your gonna get it done) but planned is the start.
I personally have a clutch to put in
coilovers
and a set of weber 45s to fit
along with the stand alone ecu to run them.
i'll try to do them early so to enjoy the long hot summer were gonna have lol.

i had this once and it was down to an air lock in the engines water system but that was on a zetec we cured it by just running the engine on a very steep slope.
might be worth a go

standard upgrades are common, bigger brakes or better pads and drilled and grooved discs along with braided hose lines will all improve this and should be easy to find on ebay/internet
-
I go on the site nearly ever day as its my homepage and as long as its not hours and hours a week I can fit it in
-
hi bud maybe I can help with this??
I have no idea what to do but wouldn't mind learning and it'll keep me closely tied to the club now im stepping down as club coordinator
-
hi guys
I'm rammed with darts and won't be attending many shows this year including this one (that's if I make any) I have also stepped down as club coordinator due to this.
I wish all my friends on the club all the best and I'm still going to be on the site and enjoying the cab as and when I can.
see you all soon

I made Badger's cover and I've made 3 or 4 since then. They look the part and, as they're completely custom, you can have it in whatever colour or material you want.
They're not cheap though. There's half a hide of leather in each one and plenty of hours involved in making them....

hi Paul
I haven't fitted one myself but did watch the guys from southend fit mine and it didn't look that bad (I'd do it myself if I needed another) they used a tin of contact glue the hood comes pretty much marked out and once you remove the old one you can see where it all goes I think the worst bit looked like getting the cable around the back in and right so it looks good (they knocked it in with a plastic dolly).
I'm sure there must be people on here that have fitted one and they will help guide you in the right direction
-
i'll be there guys I am taking the mrs away for a long weekend, so have booked a lovely cottage so she can enjoy the weekend as well (she's gonna stay at the cottage on the sunday, cars are not her thing) but gonna watch the horses and deer on Saturday so it'll keep her happy.

hi danos cab
the only two tone cabs built were announced in December 1989 and the blue one was bahama blue with moonstone lower they had a power hood matching the top colour ie blue and half leather interior
so I would say yours was more than likely a copy of these.
-
all the info in my ford book says is lauched june 1989 to coincide with Wimbledon championships, white with matching power hood and grey leather/fabric interior, cosworth style wheels and black bodyside mouldings.
it was not limited to numbers made.
-

free interior mk4 ghia
in Ebay Items
Posted
hi guys and gals
as with most people on here we havn't got much to do, so next weekend i'm off into the loft for a clear out and i know i have a complete mk4 cabriolet interior from a 1.6 ghia in fawn/brown plasctics i know they also used the plastics in the 87 all white cabriolet.
i certainly would never fit this back in my car so will be getting rid of it ever in a skip or to a fellow escortian for free (as long as you collect) i know that collection will not happen soon so happy to store in my garage untill such a time.
but as soon as the all clear is sounded it'll need to go either way.
please feel free to contact me by messenger if your intrested i can't be doing with selling sites and would rather someone made use of it.
