  1. I have mentioned this before on here as this question been asked

    a few times before.

When I bought my cab my fuel pump buzzed real loud and also you

could hear with engine running from 6 ft away but it kept on working

for about a year with the odd misfire and the odd non starting when hot.

When I came to replace it the ford dealer wanted 120 Malta pounds,

and through my mate who is a mechanic got the same spec pump

from Germany for 45 Malta pounds including postage.

When we replaced it he reckoned it was also the original pump

and now you can just hear a very low buzz when its in the garage

you cannot even hear it when its outside, at the same time I also

replaced the fuel filter, this should be replaced at least every other year.

  2. Some cars can run hottish but should never go anywhere near

the red, if your fan is not kicking in then maybe you have a

faulty switch / sensor, this happened on my other car not the cab

and all it was a faulty fan switch / sensor

  3. Mine is kept in the garage and is only used daily in the summer

and sunny weekends the rest of the year, the only water it sees

is the one in the bucket when I wash her.

  4. Funny enough Im having my system fitted this Saturday, Im just like you pip im not bothered

about massive speakers and amplifiers, so I bought a Kenwood MP3 head unit and 4 10cm

Pioneer speakers and that should be just right for me.

  5. I am in the process of buying new rear and front speakers

for my cab unless I am mistaken the original size

are 4 inches in the back and 5 inches in the front

    can anyone confirm this please.

I do not want to do any cutting but just a straight swap.
