You have certainly been about mate, reading the different engine powers/specs there of the different cars and some mods shows how much the years have changed Ive fitted all Fiesta Rs turbo efi running gear with a stupidly oversized turbo in which i had to move the radiator and twin fans as close to the front panel as possible and fit spacer plates onto the turbo manifold but ive never driven it yet as its coming home from paint this Friday i have no idea what it will put out hopefully something decent and safe that wont destroy it lol Yes my partner mentioned about Stirling when i was half asleep certainly not many of the oldschool ones left sadly A trip to the loft me tomorrow i think to dig out some old Ford magazines Im just going to update my Thread in the resto forum right now hope the pics work Del

Would of loved to go back to that era and live the dream would also like to see the yellow cab never mind the Cos My plan is to go to as many events as possible after all the lockdown etc clears off ive replaced every nut and bolt on my cab to my liking ,some people like original but when the car is a rolling shell to start with i dont see it as a crime to do some sensible changes lol Somebody put a mk4 front end on mine amd when i bought it someone had half ar5ed put a mk3 front end back on it so i had to do what i could to make it look the part,to be honest its looking pretty decent now Del

Hi Ron Yes mate i was on here about 10 years ago im sure but I lost my log in details email etc so after many years of cabs and other fords and classics etc i decided to purchase a 1984 1.6i in white,not the All White SE model the last time i owned one of those was about 12 years ago now and im sure its being cared for by a garage down South (C888 AJA) I was good friends with Lynsey from Paisley who owned a blue mk4 and a silver mk3 but have lost contact after we both moved houses,i think she might be abroad now. I had to get google image links to put my pics up i have many of the cab which believe it or not is ready to be collected from the paint shop lol i had a txt about 10mins ago,saying that i dont know if i can get it recovered home with all this crap going on. Would be good to see the site busy as i mind when i used to be on WestofScotlandRsoc and it was non stop. I will get more loaded tonight for folk to see Del

Id say the above post is 100 percent correct unless its having a turbo etc added which again will cost a lot more ive had zetecs etc in the past in my mk3s and mk4s but i prefer a fiesta turbo cvh , the power of modern day cars will be better but i just like the ease of working with a 1.6 engine and the space im left with under the bonnet If you have a 1.6 zetec just now tho its worth the change over if you can get it cheap enough

Well i bought this after realising my old 3 door base model Sierra was too much for me to repair and im an escort fan anyway so here we go,bought from ebay about 1 and a half years ago for £500 with a load of parts i never needed which some have been sold to buy the parts i wanted lol Its a mk3 someone had turned into a mk4 then back to a mk3 again

Hi everyone been a long long time i was on many years ago but since lost email accounts passwords etc etc and been through lots of life ups and downs etc etc the norm to be honest Anyway im glad theres still a forum going and well done for keeping this site alive :) name is Derek or Del from Sunny Scotland had several fords and cabs and much more but after everything im back with a mk3 cab i picked up on Ebay and ive hopefully saved it some folk may have bought some items from me on ebay in the past so might know me from there and some might have came to my house many years ago and ive handed you a lot of free parts as thats the kinda guy i am anyway will upload some pics and hoping to see everyone at a show somewhere sometime in the summer Del :)
