Guest ferrel Posted September 30, 2015 Share Posted September 30, 2015 (edited) hi im looking to tune up my xr3i a bit, as far as I can see I need throttle body cams and remapping to get to 130 bhp. can anyone give me a detailed description of the process or another route I can take for better results. I want to do the work myself so nothing to taxing also anything else that would need changing even if u think its obvious as I know very little about tuning. Ian71 Posted September 30, 2015 Share Posted September 30, 2015 A word of advice,before you do anything to the engine have it checked for weir on a rolling road or an experianced mechanic as changing to a high lift cam and remapping can put alot more stress on an old engine. I diddnt want to do a full engine change I know this is the most suggested route, but I am on a budget and want to change things over time.
