  1. Hi Dave, I replaced my front speakers with some from Halfords and they are 10cm (4") that fit. If you do want the original front and rear ones I think I still have the full set. Thanks Avril
  2. Hi Serbian, You can still get the hydrolic power roof fluid (a bit like brake fluid) from Fords as they still stock it. I got some recently for my power hood. thanks Avril
  3. I have found some photos of the European ford event. http://www.xrrs-club.nl/fotos-efe-flevonice-2010
  4. Mondo, I thought I'd post a piccy of skippy's to give you some more ideas. they are really nice if you can personalise them. They do look smart.
  5. Ha! ha! Gregg, Skippy doesn't mind unless I manage to tear on of the bags as I get them out then he does get a little bit unhappy about being covered in horse mix! ha!. And if the bags are damp or dirty I do put a cover on his seats first! I do have to careful though with the weight as sometimes his wheel arches are very close to his wheels, with not much room for lumpy bumpy roads! ha!
  6. Ha! ha! Chaz, Well i've never got car bits whilst riding the Basilbear (one of the horses), but he does have look on when I'm cleaning and spraying my car bits whilst I'm over there, and has to wait to be pet and pampered and ridden! ha! I must admit I do get a few strange looks when I start trying to get 12 bags of feed into poor skippy, most of the other customers turn up with their 4x4's ha! But you would be suprised how much you can fit in an escort cabby! ha! Perhaps we should have a competition as to who can get the most in their cabby! ha! Thanks Avril
  7. I forgot to post these piccies from the other week. Some people didn't believe that I used skippy to collect the feed for the horses, so I took some piccies of him fully loaded with horse feed and carrots! ha!
  8. Well aftera bit of messing about, Skippy has finally managed to get in my dad's garage and has gone nesting! ha! Its just as well because he was under his rug out in the weather parked at mine and when I went to start him yesterday he coughed and spluttered and wasn't very happy. However after my friendly garage guys had his distributor apart and cleaned it with brake fluid and air hose (oh and my lighter to get rid of the brake cleaning vapours) he was all happy again! So he's now tucked up indoors and is much happier and has his nesting slippers on! ha! It is so sad when they go away for the winter especially when it was so sunny today! Thanks Avril x
  9. Hi John, I just spotted your post on the cabby. So glad your happy with him, I was a bit worried as you hadn't seen the cabby for yourself, but your mate was adamant that you would like it! So really glad you did! ha! Looks really good in your piccy above, and will be good to see updates as you start doing stuff on him. I'll let Lee know how your getting on with it. Lee's got his back from being resprayed, and as you know that was in the same Imperial Blue, it is a lovely colour. He's planning on doing cream interior with blue piping so I shall take piccies as his progresses as well......they could look like twins! ha! Speak soon, take care Avril
  10. Skippy has gone to bed and I wish he was still out and about in the Sun today!

  11. Dev looks really smart Paul and will be great to see him at the shows. I bet you'll be out and about today with the roof down, I'm envious as Skippy has gone to bed now! ha! Avril x
  12. Needs to win the Euro Lottery tomorrow so I can leave work!

  13. He is sort of semi nesting Lee! ha! Not in the garage yet but he does have his rug on! ha! I need to get his wheels swapped over and then put him to bed properly. Its horrible putting him away though as he loves being used. I can't deny it Paul Skippy has been spoilt, but then I am going to keep him forever! ha! It will be nice to see Dev next year at the shows....or at the meets if sooner. Thanks Avril
  14. Just added a reply so I could find the link again.
  15. Wondering where everyone is on this site! ha!

  16. I forgot to say that I have now posted all the Battlebridge piccies in the Gallery under the specific show folder. thanks Avril
  17. Hi Lee, It was a lovely fluffy Newfoundland, couldn't resist taking a piccy! ha!
  18. here's a couple more piccies but I shall wait and load all of them into the Gallery once a folder is set up.
  19. Rustler, The horses are both thoroughbreds, the black one is about 16.2hh 18years old and is the mother of Basilbear who's about 17.2hh and 9 years old. Not sure how he grew so tall as his daddy was only 16hh and his grandad was Mill Reef who was only 15.2hh. He's a very sweet horse though as we bred him, so he has been petted and pampered since he was born! ha! Thanks Avril
  20. Lewis, this post might help you hopefully. http://www.escortcabrioletclub.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/21169-ford-paint-codes-and-colours/ Thanks Avril
