Here are some piccies from the Weston Show that we attended yesterday. It was a lovely day and nice that some of us travelled up in convoy! I just love convoys! Now looking forward to next weeks Show at Thorsby, and hope we get a good turn out so we can be in with a chance of winning the best club stand on the show again! Thanks Avril

Well just recently there has been an awful lot of queries about what is standard for mfi,efi and turbo engines, so I thought it would be a good idea to start a post that everyone an add their engine bay piccies to and provide some detail about whether they are standard or not, and any mods they have done. So for a starter I have stolen the piccies Ollie put up last year, and hopefully everyone can then add to. Well another post while i'm on a roll! ha! So whos's supporting the cabby club at the Classic ford show at Santa pod?? This is a great show as there is so much action down the strip including the Jet car, whilst also enjoying the buzz of the show itself. Add your names to the post. Also it would be good to know who wants to camp. I think this year we may well go in the family area so we don't get plagued like we did last year with numpty noise! ha! I thought i'd do a post to find out who's going to FITP show and who wants to camp this year. Last year we stayed at the Crystal Lake camping site and it was good. I have pasted the link below so that anyone who wants to camp can try and book the same camp site. I think there are a few people planning to camp so add you names to the post so we can plan to get a site bigger enough for us all to be together. I thought I'd do a post to see who's going to Weston and see if we can all meet up along the way for a mass convoy! ha! As far as I know myself, Ian (badger) Mark (avul) and possibly Dan (Mossy) are going from the suffolk area and are planning to meet up at Bury St Edmunds.....then going up the A14 and M6. I think Stuart (Gingerman) was going to try and meet up with us around the services at the start of the M6? And then Steve and Simon (radman) were coming across country meeting the M6 up near the toll road somewhere....so we could join up at the M6/A5 juntion to Telford? Well add to the post and we can hopefully all plan to meet on the way at strategic points! ha! ha! thanks Avril

Hi stuart, Normally at the shows we all get our cleaning and waxing stuff out and set about washing and waxing the cabbies.....Skippy always seems to be dirtiest as he probably travels the biggest distance invariably so I always have to wash him and clean him up from scratch especially if its rained on the way there! ha! All the show sites have water and its nice to clean them while we wait for the kettle to boil for a nice cuppa! ha! And Feeble and Diggy are right that i normally helps others clean their cabbies as well! ha! Thats part of the fun is getting there and cleaning them up and making them all shiny again! ha! Having spoken to a few members in the shout box its apparent that not eveyone realises that the tickets for the showsa have to be booked and ordered upto a month before the actual show date. So I thought I'd detail the latest dates for buying the various show tickets, into a Post to make it easier for members to see and avoid disappointment. Thanks everyone. It is so good to have him out again. I'm not sure he was so impressed though when i filled him up with horse feed on Sunday! ha! The garage next door have also kindly let him have a nice little parking spot so I can keep an eye on him easily from my window and hear him if he squeaks! ha! Also Chaz that tune is great for the summer.....shall have to add it to my collection! ha! Many thanks Avril

Well Skippy has been woken up this weekend and is now out to play again for the summer. To my amazement i only had to re-connect his battery and he started first time without any hesitation and has been running around all weekend as if he hasn't been to sleep at all! ha! He did have a mini service and an oil change yesterday but he feels better than ever to drive. So cant wait for the shows to start!

Nice to see the progress of Scrappy. He is going to look so nice Black. I cant wait to see him at the Weston show. Look forward to seeing some more piccies soon. Take care Avril
