been busy mate, mainly getting married amongst other things! need to try an get on here a tad more, especially as ive just got a mk6 cab to cruise about in. the mk4 is in my garage again (broken lol)

you can test the horn by putting wires off a battery directly to the terminals of the horn

I brought a mk6 today and it came with a spare ecu, it has a chip in it, forgot what make, aparantly it cost about 120 quid and gives 20 extra horses? anyway, I know pretty much bugger all about mk6's, do you reckon its worth 50 notes? and is there any numbers on the ecu's that I will know what models its suitable for? cheers!

ive seen both on mk4s, dunno why tho lol

id check the oil, but if it was very low you'd probably of noticed it getting noisey! The linkage could of moved/ be loose, 13mm nut and bolt. Id also check the clutch fork on top of the gearbox, they can split on the spline and move

try a new bolt before you re thread it, prob just the bolt that's shagged.
