whip a driveshaft out the only way I think, it wont get it all out but most of it

its been a fair while since ive updated this, i "finished" it, got a MOT etc and had it as my wedding car in june, since then its sat in my garage and in bits again, got a big front mount intercooler for it, new orange samco boost hoses, loads of goodies etc etc, just need a few more bits then spend a weekend fitting it all. il update sometime soon with up to date pics, but for now, a few from june

i got offerd a car at a price no one could refuse off a family member, i thought about it last night and today and decided to buy it, i really didnt want to be selling the cab as im already starting to love it. im pissed off but at the same time happy.

yeah best to cut it out, mine is just filler lol, again boot is rusty where yours is, ive got lacquer peel around that rubber but havent looked for rot, think il ganders later! i need a boot carpet if youve got a spare? jelous of the wind deflecter, id love one for the mk4 too but can never justify the cost

one of the arches has been sorted already, not an amazing job but its ok, they had flatted it all back so most of the rear was dull, i used g3 to blend it in properly and get rid of the over spray!! now it shines well, its had a front ender at some point, bonnet paint is ropey and headlight dont line up lol ive gotta sort under the rear lights as its quite rusty there, its had a few bits of welding underneath for the last MOT so atleast i dont gotta worry about that. id quite like a walnut dash and love a wind deflecter my renault is fairly low, not very practical where i live to say the least

yeah exhaust is tiny, but its a brand new system, may get a tiny, ahem, bolt on thats my renault 5, its for sale at the mo, retro as you like, and its rapid!

brought this mk6 a couple of weeks ago, going to be my daily driver, should go well with my mk4 ive started to tidy it up abit and still got things to do (as always)! just hope it dont end up like my mk4, broken in the garage let me know what ya think!

i used a similar cheap one on mine, about 40 quid off ebay, works a treat! a local motor factors to me wanted over 200 quid for a similar one lol

was just mentioning the t piece to stop any damage, so relax! oh and i think you mean post not thread.

you have to turn the t piece on the roof motor to use it manually. the roof is easy to remove, 3 bolts both sides behing the rear door cards and the cable that runs around the base has a small nut each side, oh and a few odd screws holding the inner lining in place!

you were better off getting that one, the efi systems are the same but the down pipes are diffrent, think there a diffrent lenght too so would mean messing around and wouldnt be a straigh swap. i got a custom stainless steel one built and fitted at powerflow in aylesbury for 330 notes with a lifetime warranty.
