  6. hi people i seam to be having trouble with my clutch pedal rachet system i fitted an uprated clutch to my mk4 zetec conversion last summer and everything was great (even done 1000 mile trip and 3 laps of nurenburgring) but after winter hibernation it seams to be not working right so i changed the cable for a new one and the pedal takes up the slack by clicking 1 tooth but whilst driving it seams to slip back resulting in me having to double clutch everytime..... has anyone had this problem or know of any fix's

  8. hi mate there are drains either side of the back seat, the water from the roof runs that way, i have seen people unblock these by taking the back inner panel off and poking a wire coathanger down there i beleive the holes are right at the bottom of the wheel arch... i hope this helps
  9. yes mate i sorned it over winter and will tax it on the 1st of april, mot and insurance both run out in august it's the first time i've seen it since i parked it up in september lol
  10. i'd repair what you've got if all was right with it before head gasket going, but do remember you'll need to remove timing belt and not unless its very new you might as well replace that as well so the expense does mount up if you'd like to go 2-0ltr route theres alot to swap i.e sump and oil pick up ,water pump and flywheel also theres the ecu and wiring to sort out to get it running spot on.
  11. hi people i charged my battery up and went to the garage and woke bruce up to get him ready for summer. he's had a quick service including new thermostat and i've fitted the newly developed mk4 vibratecnics engine mount. and here he is...... now needs taxing and a damn good clear out.. bring on the april sun ....
