    Wow, I suppose they are a large company with large overheads , so about right. When I bought my roof 2 years ago from car hood warehouse I think they were charging approx £600 ish to supply and fit. I bought the two roofs and new cables and got a guy in Milton Keynes to fit it , cost just under £600 altogether.

    If you are talking about the three mouldings that fit on either side of the car , you will have very little chance of getting new replacements, second hand ones may come up but once removed they tend to lose there shape.

    Looks a really nice car, well worth the effort to keep it original. Ford fitted other front spots as well as Carello , I am told by couple of members you can still buy them from mini as they were the same as fitted to Mini Cooper of the same era, at last time of asking I believe they were 120 a pair.

    Yea go normally between March and sept, don’t bother to much in winter, I tend to do shows with both clubs sometimes like classic ford this Sunday will take two and put one on each stand

    Yes, rs owners at polhill arms ,renhold, 3rd Monday of the month, no cab local meeets tho.

    I live in Bedfordshire as well,flitwick, I do most shows. I think Uxbridge still has tickets, the all ford show at battlesbridge is a good one to. Where in beds do you live ?

    Fordfair at silverstone is the biggest show of the year,over 20 thousand people, need to buy ticket through kelsey publishing, see link bottom of page of events coming up.

    Hi stu, check the small hoses around the throttle body area for leaks on the joints and splits in the hoses themselves.

    Mk4 gaskets still seem to come up on eBay quite often, not sure if mk3 are the same tho. Good luck.

    Is it the roof pump in the boot, is it leaking on the plastic bit on the end of the pump ?  If so could try vw dealers I am told it’s the same pump as golf cars ,they seem to have more parts than ford , failing that look for second hand pump on eBay, normally from £75 upwards
