At the weekend, i picked up a mint mk4, tis an 1,6 Ghia on a D plate (87), its near standard bar a few bits n pieces but nowt major.   But i was wondering what wheels the car should have on..at present its on 3i dogleg alloys, but i beleive the early ghia models had steels n wheel trims.   Anyone got any ideas or am i barking up the wrong tree as normal

right i want to fit these on my cabby,...i dont have the mounting strips...will they be okay just bonded and screwed/riveted on?

could anyone give me a rough idea of respray costs   my car has a few rust spots but a friend who works in a bodyshop is prepared to prep the car for me,however his boss says they are too busy to allow him to do me a respray on the cheap.   i was just wondering what kind of price id be looking at ,and wether or not they charge more for a colour change...dont want to get ripped off when i go looking for quotes.   cheers dave
