Hi i'm new to this so bare with me! I have a 1985 1.6i in mercury grey. I love it but its outside and starting to rust, i know a guy who quoted me £300 to do up the sills and wheel arches and some rust on the bottom of the doors, just wondered id this was reasonable. Hi, i've never managed to be able to get the Mk3 to charge above 13.5v and if the lights and heater are on it doesn't really charge at all. Finally got round to looking at it today and noticed that the blue wire off the alternator multi plug doesn't go anywhere.About an inch from the alternator the wire has a female bullet connector on it with nothing going into it.
