hi all really in need of some help, just replace my standard escort bonnet for an rs turbo one bolted in nicely, i then closed it and it now wont open at all!!! the bonnet release cable works fine as you can feel and see it moving but its not doing anything i.e. its not under tension. The latch to open the bonnet moves as well but does nothing? Anyone had this problem of how to open it? somehow its just jammed shut.   Thanks all   Jonathan

not realy a problem but seams apropriate to post here. what is the best way to maintain the roof, stop it going supple etc (obviously clean it) but is there any chemicles i should use on it? i no on the lany soft top i use brick sealnt to keep it water tight and maintain it, although not sure it would have the same effect on this though. cheers   o and if this has already been discused, just point me in the direction of the topic and i shall read that, save you all wasting you time   cheers

wot is the easyist way to remove a alternator on a mk5a cabby(from above or underneith the car) as there doesnt seem to be enough room for it to cum out
