Guest fenny cabby Posted June 10, 2007 Share Posted June 10, 2007 this is how clean the head is after i pulled the rocker cover off.....as i bought the car for the engine off ebay without history on engine work i dunno whats best thing to do? it ran and sounded ok....but shud i recon the engine before i put in in my escort? looks clean tho mean its had work recently?? Guest vtiman Posted June 10, 2007 Share Posted June 10, 2007 certainly looks like its had regular oil changes though lol,any work that people claim to have had carried out should be backed up by receipts or it aint worth s**t,used to play about with mk1 n mk2 scorts and every one you went to look at had a burton engine according to the owner lol,believe nothing without paperwork and even then with a pinch of salt lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
