Guest mac Posted June 9, 2007 Share Posted June 9, 2007 HI IV GOT A 1.6 MFI ENGINE AND IM PUTTING A RS TURBO ENGINE IN MY CABBY IV GOT A FULL WIRING LOOM BUT DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW EASY IT IS TO PUT IN DO I HAVE TO RIP THE CAR TO BIT?????? Guest vtiman Posted June 9, 2007 Share Posted June 9, 2007 you will have to take most of the interior out of the car including the dash,its not nearly as hard as you think it may be,everything just plugs in,when you strip out the original loom unplug the small looms for the leccy windows,door mirrors,and central locking and just leave them where they are then plug them back into the new loom when fitted i usually cut then solder back together the wires for the roof clock light(6 wires) that go up through the drivers door pillar saves a lot of swearing lol,also cut and rejoin the fuel pump wires under the back seat (2 wires),apart from that just plug and play,any probs just post up on here sure someone will help you out mate Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
