Guest Yorkshireman Posted April 20, 2007 Share Posted April 20, 2007 I have the same problem too! But mine is an EFI engine. Just cant get the mixture down. Plugs always getting sooted up within a few miles. I have tried turning the CO mixture adjuster and the base idle screw but no luck. I'm just waiting till pay day and sending mine to a preformance centre to sort out for me. I have spent to many hours messing with it and got nowhere really.
