Guest JonnyP
Hi, can some one point me in the right direction of the idle speed problem on my 89 XR3i? It starts and idles from cold at about 1200 - 1500 revs but as she warms idles at a constant 2000 revs, I've read through a few of the other idle speed related problems but thought I'd throw this out there myself. Is it the Idle control valve and if so where is it located on the MK4 model or could it be something else? She drives fine apart from exceptionally high revs at all times. Many Thanks Jonathan

jinks
check your air pipes might be sucking in air that will cause high revs mate look at the vacuum pipe from service to manifold
