Guest Northy2
Hi all. I've just finished a resto on my Cabbi, last year I drove my car to my workshop disconnected the battery and started work. Did not touch the engine or electrics at all just body work. Bought a new battery gave car a service turned the key nothing at all no lights no power any where. Spent 2 days checking all earths and fuses. Power goes to starter as I can cross the seloniod and engine turns.

Guest Northy2
Where would that be as cannot find any other loose wires
StuDaBear
What have you got attached to the positive terminal of the battery, should normally be the thick lead to the starter and 1 or 2 more.
Guest Northy2
On the + is a thick wire going to starter and a smaller one going to a relay which looks like it's to do with the spot lights
StuDaBear
Deffo sounds like you have a wire or 2 missing, mine has a couple of wires that go off towards the heater box, have a good luck around all wiring in that area. I would take a picture of mine but it won't help really as I have a lot of additional electrics on mine as its far from original.

Guest Northy2
Problem solved. Found the correct live that powers fuse board. Traced it through the loom, strange as it changed black just before it came out. Done a test and connected it to live on battery car started up well happy. Thank you all for the help
