Guest lorna1 Posted October 15, 2015 Share Posted October 15, 2015 hi if anyone could help I'm lost I have a 98 1.8i ghia and it starts 1st time every time. it went to the garage for a few repairs and has come back with a fault. the garage are telling me its the fuel pump but I realy don't think it is. the car starts every time. the problem is when I'm just stationary for 15 mins. it will still drive until you turn the ignition off then it wont start. it tries to start but dies.it seems as though the power has been cut to the fuel pump. any ideas .
