Guest Skye
Anybody had any experience changing the driveshaft oil seals? Mine's leaking badly, not sure whether it'd be easy to tackle myslef or book it in at a garage to do? Matt.
Guest jayrscabby
they are easy to do you have to remove the driveshaft to do this just make sure you have gearbox oil to replace any lost, also check there is no play in the driveshafts as could be a worn diff causeing the leak hope this helps
Guest Skye
Many thanks I'll tackle it as soon as I can. I have a slight wobble when driving too will have to look at the driveshafts further as it's not the hub or discs.
a1dale
jayrscabby is right, leaking cvh drive shaft leaks usually mean worn diff bearings
Guest Skye
I'll probably have to source a new gearbox then, it keeps jumping out of reverse gear anyway and there is this issue of a wobble. I take it the gearbox type will be stamped on the box?
