Guest damsie4 Posted May 26, 2014 Share Posted May 26, 2014 Hi I have recently become the proud owner of a 1996 1.8 Ghia Cabriolet. The central locking doesn't appear to work! I have checked the fuse (which states is fuseway 30 in the central fuse box in the front drivers footwell) which appears to be ok. I am still awaiting the arrival of my newly order Haynes manual from Ebay, but can't seem to find much info elsewhere about what the issue maybe. Was hoping it might just be me being a bit thick and an easy fix!? Apparently the previous owner had a remote separate fob operated 'GT Auto' alarm which they disconnected; was wondering if this may have something to do with it!? Any advice very glady appreciated.
