Guest Tony Walter Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 I drove 2 50/50 tanks of ethanol / petrol worked fine, 30% remaining of third tank engine misfired! stopped and wouldn't start again until after about 15 mins, then would repeat misfiring and cutting out again, Well, after much reading an research I suddenly thought could it be the ethanol ? So I tanked 10 Liter 98 petrol and problem solved ! Works fine now ! Must have been the ethanol . Hope this helps. Engine. 1.8L 16v EFI.
