Guest Royv412 Posted October 10, 2013 Share Posted October 10, 2013 Hi guys, I'm having issues with my rear fog lights, I have changed the interior from the standard mk5 that of a mk6, managed to change the plugs that were necessary to fit in the all the bits and pieces, everything worked and the day before I took it for its mot I found the rear fogs didn't work. The switch for the front fogs light up even though there aren't any front fogs but the loom is there, the rear switch done nothing tried a different switch still nothing, took a wire from what I believe is the live in and ran it to the rear and the lights worked. I have run a new live from the switch to the rear but still nothing, I bridged a wire from the front switch to the rear switch and now both switches light up but can't get the lights to turn on. Tried 4 switches they all light up and when I bridge the live in to live out they work. The colour of wires I have in front switch are Grey/black. Grey/yellow. Space. Brown Space. Black. Space. Black yellow Rear Grey/yellow. Grey. Space. Brown. Space. Space. Space. Black yellow. I may be wrong but I think the grey/yellow is the live out to the lights Grey is the live in Brown is earth Black yellow to the multi switch Electrics aren't my strong point any ideas would be much appreciated!
