Guest Andylewis Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 Got an new roof off of ebay for the bargain price of £25 quid, lovely.... thought id swap em over last nite after work nice easyish job looks the dogs nuts too!!!! Only problem is this.... Not good..... Drivers side locks in but theres like an inch gap on tother side. So i spose the frames twisted, maybe the doner car had an RTA (?) any ideas/ advice? Guest Lee81 Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 You need to to lower all the windows. It looks like the passenger window is too high preventing the roof coming down. There are setting screws for all the heights but this is usually the last this to do. Before that you need to slacken off the retaining bolts for the hood until there loose you can then close the hood so it engages in the locking points. Then you tighten the hood mounting bolts. This aligns the hood. Remember all this is done with windows down so theres no fouling until the top height is set Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Had that removed today arrrgh so gonna leave it covered and do it saturday morning.
