Guest Royv412 Posted December 8, 2012 Share Posted December 8, 2012 Hi guys, I've recently joined the forum and have had a look through previous posts to try and find the solution to my problems but I haven't had any joy, although I have found solutions to future jobs! The issues I have are that I have started to convert my mk5 dash to a mk6 dash which has been made easy with previous posts on this forum, however I can't find any guides to the wiring of the switches as the wiring is different, I was hoping it was just a case of connecting the existing wires to the same pin numbers on the mk6 switches but some of the switches appear to have more pins than there are wires and I don't want to melt anything! I have sat with a Haynes manual and I think I might have figured out the fog light and heated screen switches but I'm stumped with the new window roof switch, the mk5 has 4 separate plugs with 7 pins on each and the roof switch is separate with 3 wires, but on the mk6 switch there is only 1 plug for the windows with 9 pins and another plug with 3 wires for the roof, Sorry if this seems like a long winded post but trying to be as accurate as possible, I can post what colour of wires and positions are on each plug if necessary, Any help would be hugely appreciated, Cheers, Roy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
