Guest El87cabi
mfi or efi? Either way, k&n panel filter/57i induction kit, kent cams cvh22 camshaft or kit (though i'd personally use ford tappets whatever is recomended) and an exhaust system, followed by a tune up, you can swiss cheese the airbox on the mfi aswell if you want
Guest theprophet1978
its mfi and has pipercross induction kit, and full sportex exhaust thus far. could do with a tune up but wanted to get everything done first. was thinking about skimming the head etc etc but cam is first up. Guest El87cabi
That'll cover ur air in n fumes out then If your going to do any work on the head you might aswell do it before the cam goes in and have new valve stem oil seals fitted at the same time - it is possible to machine your head as far as stage 2 yourself but it's not advisable unless your 100% sure of what your doing. If you have a company do the work, don't bother with the unleaded head conversion as its not worth it at all. Your pretty limited tuning mfi's only other way to get more power is dump the injection system entirely and fit either webber twin 40 or 45's or bike carbs, i forget which 1's
welshlad
All I've got is a scorpion ss straight through' a k & n induction kit, decent plugs n leads and it goes well very thirsty tho compared to standard
