Guest tardsrock Posted June 27, 2012 Share Posted June 27, 2012 I recently bought an L reg Mk5b escort cabbie.It is a sillouette 1.6 16v.The interior was a bit grim so i bought a whole interior (front/rear seats,doorcards and rear cards) from an M reg 1.6 Si,same Mk5b.lovely interior,straight in i thought,Wrong!Everything fitted fine,no problems.Then i got to the front seats.(I know there's loads of issues with Mk5/5b/6 seat fitments)So why do they not fit?Its the same model(Both Mk5b)The original seats have narrower seat rails,and the Si wingbacks have wider seat rails?Does anyone know why?and does anyone have any idea how i can make them fit PLEASE!!!!!
