Guest Tatty Taylor Posted June 1, 2012 Share Posted June 1, 2012 Have a 1997 1.8 cab which has developed a leak on the power steering rack at the end of the rack filling the gaitor(MOT FAILURE), have been told that only fix is new/refurb rack. Is this job as bad as i have heard or can anyone give me some handy tips to save a bit of time.Have had the gaitors off today to have a look and the near side has a white nylon/plastic type washer showing but the off side didnt, but it was the near side that showed signs of leaking fluid.
