Guest Bills Posted June 1, 2012 Share Posted June 1, 2012 at first I need new camshaft. its great if you have, but im noot from uk, and thats the problem. here where i live are dificult to finde normal engine. and therefore i thinking about to change engine. maybe to another petrol engine. i dont know yet. Guest Lee81 Posted June 1, 2012 Share Posted June 1, 2012 I'd either order the parts from the uk and repair or get a second hand one from uk and import it. lots of companys in the uk also do collection of the engine, recondition it and then send it back. Most do overseas service. So thats something to consider. Around £950 plus courier service. Putting in the tdi engine from a mk6 will be a big job. Lots of fabrication and bits to locate.
