Guest derrick Posted April 16, 2012 Share Posted April 16, 2012 i have a 96 si and the power motor wont work at all ive tried the switch in the centre consol and its getting power. when i move the two relay units about in the boot and try the switch again i can hear the motor move but the hood wont go up or down, on a few occassions ive given the hood a little push from the closed posistion and its went back but wont come back up even though the motor is purring away ive been told thats there is a relay in the drivers footwell green i think that could also be the problem any help appreciated. ive tried opening and closing the hood a few times to see if its just air in the system but that hasnt worked either and im also getting power at the rear relays but i dont know if power is going through them as i did a test on the wires with the relays off and they seem fine?
