Guest Lee81 Posted February 24, 2012 Share Posted February 24, 2012 CVH engines are renown for this. Its the piston rings that have worn slightly. The breather setup is frankly crap and barly works as standard. The slight ware on the rings allow more gas bypass into the cylinder block. The breather system can't cope and so it pumps oil up the pipework and into the filter. The MFI ones suffer most as there breather setup is even worse. There is a good solution to the problem and that is to fit a bailey breather setup. As fitted to the rs turbo or maybe better in you case fiesta rs turbo breather setup due to yours being EFI.
