Guest Lee81
Its rare that a wheel bearing makes a squeaking noise. Check that you don't have brake bind or a damaged cv boot as that will make some noise if no grease is present. The bearing is virtually always damaged during removal and changing it can really hard if its been on for a long while. The second housing tends to stick on the drive shaft and removing it pulls the bearing appart. You would need to do this to get the greese into where it should be
Guest theprophet1978
ive just changed my front bearing with a degree of difficulty. Mine was squeeking and very badly like a fool i left it then going round a corner one day had a bad crack and felt like a flat. After pulling over and checking it decided to limp it home and upon removal it had completely shattered bits of bearing everywhere..... Anyway my point being that after changing it for a nice shiny motorcraft one it started to squeak again and the wheel wouldnt rotate properly. It turned out to be the caliper sticking which was a much more pleasing option, so defo worth checking first
