I'm sure most of you have seen this brand new pristine Zetech-R engine on eBay? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300617485717?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 This listing details the various gearboxes that it would fit, MTX-75 etc. I have searched the Haynes manual and cannot find out which gearbox is fitted to my MK4 1989 MFI. Would anybody on here know. Also can anybody tell me if this conversion is do-able and what it would involve? I understand that I would need a new Loom, clutch, modified engine mounts etc, but would it drop straight in and bolt up to my gearbox? Any help would be really appreciated. Many thanks.
