Anythings possible but the 2.9 granada engine aint the best of engines. If your doing all the labour yourself (there will be alot of fabrication think weeks worth) it will probably cost a £1000 in parts minimum. You could have a a lot more power from a rst turbo engine transplant which can be had for around £600 which is prity simple to do and would only take around 2 days.

if u really want sumthin diffarent how bout a pinto lump, would need alot of fabrication but u shouldn't 2 cut the engine bay about, but u would need 2 do sumthin wiv the bonnet ( spacer or powerbulge) as i think the pinto's a bit taller than the cvh, engine mount's would b the biggest headache tho, just an idea. sumthin random, sumthin diffarent.

a lot of cuttin 4 the v6 2 go in on a car thats fwd & u dont wanna go rwd!!! i love my cabbie even tho its in bits a the mo but if i had the money i'd love 2 ave a rwd mk3 cabbie, b so much fun off the roundabout's.....

If you want different I have photos on my machine of a mk3 track weapon with a K-series fitted. Nice bit of weight saving and I presently have a Rover 75 1.8T with the turbo version fitted. It is a very impressive engine with loads of low down grunt

The V6, if you managed to get it to fit, would be too heavy and ruin the cars handling. I wouldn't entertain using a cologne in anything considering what else is available these days. I have the cosworth version sat in my Cortina and a friend of mine has an omega V6 fitted to his Scimitar. The omega makes a better choice of the two.
