Guest Jack Tar Posted August 10, 2011 Share Posted August 10, 2011 The Mrs Mk5 xr3i cabby (zetec) at the mo has a bit of an idle problem (idles a bit rough) But what i want to know is what would cause the car to feel like someone has slammed on the brakes for about a secound whilst accelerating snd then just seem to correct its self?? This has happened a couple of times now. I dont know if its related to this problem but also the other day the car just died on me whilst driving along, the battery and fuel light came on, I let the car cruise turned off ignition then restarted the car, it flashed up first time and i carried on driving.
