You need fiesta 3.5 subframes apparently. I had the same problem and gave up for a couple of other reasons. Ended up with a full Si wingbacks interior instead. The 5's and 6's are the same but the 5b is a much wider fitment.

Mk6 need the Fiesta subframes too... It's an easy job once you find the right car to get them off in a scrappy... Just look under the seats at the front, in the Fiesta, and if the rail closest to the centre of the car drops downwards at about a 30 degree angle for 50mm or so, they are the ones you need... The same as it'll be in your Mk5b, so just take a look at that and you should get me... lol, wish I had a pic!

The Fiesta seats come on two rails. They are not joined together...

I don't know about the higher spec models, they might have a one piece subframe, but the lesser models, as in the one I used, definitely came in two parts... It's not an issue though and should be fairly straight forward!

Hello there,i got the opposite problem with my Mk5b.i bought an Si interior for mine, but the front seat runners are too wide and the new seats don't fit as my floor hole's are narrower,Gutted. Thought they would be the same.Im trying to find out why some Mk5b's are different to other 5b's.If anyone knows why please enlighten us.
