Guest scotty-b Posted June 5, 2011 Share Posted June 5, 2011 i have the same problem with my mk5xr3i cab, i have to disconnect the battery when not in use, pain in the a**e i know. i think its something to do with the fusebox. will let you know when i get paid so i can sort it. Guest jayden199 Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 (edited) my car is also a mk5 i found out that it was the starter moter solinoid staying on all the time i have fitted a switch on the powerlead from the battery to the starter moter as a tempery fix untill i get a new starter moter and it has been working fine i just turn the switch off when i leave the car Edited June 9, 2011 by jayden199 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
